Lise wants you to experience what it’s like to get paid for the content you produce, get the acclaim and recognition you're craving, and take back your own time.

Lise splits her time between her home country, New Zealand, and her second home, Australia (where her hubby is from), always close to the water and cafes that serve up a spicy chai latte!

What's Hot: I was instantly grabbed by this book. Clear, concise and logical - it's a fascinating read. I thought I was well served by my familiar computer systems that do the job, but I was wowed. The money I've saved by switching to Lise's suggestions could have bought me dozens of ebooks! It's worth every penny and plenty more. I love the fact that she starts with the cream, in the form of her Top 10, which is then backed up by a well organised presentation of 101 more great tools. There is spice added throughout by "Lise's freelancing hacks" which offer ingenious ways of using and combining these tools.

What's Not: There's so much here it might make your head spin, but don't panic. It's brilliantly laid out and easy to navigate.

Summary: This book cuts straight to the chase and delivers what you want. More importantly, it also gives you what you need, even if you never knew it existed. This is every writers must-have manual.

As a freelancer or entrepreneur, we all need productivity tools in order to be efficient.
This well written manual is a handy reference guide book that you would not want to miss out.
As it is packed with tons of goldmine information, Lise has made it simple for the reader to start by listing the top 10 apps/tools
In addition, I particularly like her summary of personal tips or hacks that she shared at the end of most of the apps/tools.
There are 14 categories and you can just jump straight into any category to explore them. Handy and quick indeed.
At the end of the book, she beautifully summarized 10 tips on the principles of being a successful freelancer.
I strongly recommend this book to any aspiring freelancer or entrepreneur, whether you are just starting out or if you are a veteran entrepreneur struggling to find success.

I just started doing freelancing again to earn some extra money. I freelanced for a brief time about seven years ago but the landscape has changed drastically since then. I picked up Lise Cartwright's "Outsourced Freelancing Success" and have to say that this has been solid gold for me. Not only did Lise's book give me a ton of new ideas about how to make money outsourcing, she gave me ways to work smarter, not harder. By grabbing many of the suggested Apps and Software Programs that she reveals in her material, I have been able to shave hours off of my work-day and still bring in some hefty outsourcing income. There are some great tips here that I haven't seen anywhere else and, if you are a freelancer, this is not to be missed.

This is a great collection of the best apps and programs that anyone who is starting to freelance should make themselves familiar with.

I know some of the programs listed but there were a lot that I had never seen before and now I am starting to use them. She covers everything from book keeping, to image editing, and even ways to keep focused. The reviews of each program were concise, honest and frank from someone who has obviously used them and spent time researching the best.

Before you spend money on any program for your freelancing business you should check this book out first, it may save you a lot of money.

Wow, this book is impressive! I think another name for this book could be The Great Encyclopedia of Freelancer Tools! All the apps and the tools are carefully picked and organized into different categories that make finding information very easy. Each app and each tool has a short but descriptive review based on Lise Cartwright's experience. Be ready to download at least 10 different apps after reading this book, because this is the number I've downloaded myself;) And I've already started noticing how much more productive I became with these tools.

I highly recommend this book to anybody who is pursuing a successful freelancer career or any other online or offline business.

The author is obviously very experienced and there's a lot of tools here that will make your life as a freelancer a whole lot easier.

I have never actually heard of quite a few of these and have already taken the authors advice and got the password management tool, the ideas tracking program and alternative document software.

Having everything organised and in place takes the frustration out of working for yourself as a freelancer and/or writer.

But it's not all about organisation, there's list of other tools like sharing, storage, editing and content creation you can take advantage of depending on your occupation. It also includes some invaluable tips. A highly recommended book.

Running an online business, I felt the need to be more tech savvy, and Lise's book helped me gain that mastery. Apart from building a solid context for over 100 apps, and sharing their benefits, this book is rich with practical applications of each of those apps, and that kind of information comes in handy for making effective choices. I was surprised to find out about the wide range of payment tools available out there, beyond Paypal! Next on my list to check out are freelancer apps like Omvana and Focus booster. The extent of research by the author is highly appreciated! Oh, and don't forget to check out the freebie.

This is an excellent little book! Full of tips and goodies to help you become more productive both at work and in your personal life, this little gem is written in an easy to read and understand style. You'll see at a glance whether the tool or app is suitable for Mac, PC, iphone or Android, or if it is web-based. I love that the author tells us her personal favorites and how she uses them together to get more done while staying organized!

    5.0 out of 5 stars A Must-Have Resource!
Reviewed in Canada on March 18, 2015
I really loved this book - it's fluff-free and gets straight to the point. I learned about a ton of tools that I'd never heard of before, that sound like they will be perfect for solving some of the problems I'm having with my workflow.

One of the best things about this book (aside from a killer list of tools!) is the fact that she is careful to specify what operating system works with said tool (e.g., Mac, Windows, iOS, Android etc.) AND she even includes the current price where applicable (but not to worry, tons of the tools she suggests cost absolutely nothing!)

Wow - so much information and it's all usable, well explained, concise and practical. This is a little gem for anyone starting out in the freelancing world. Some of these tools I already use, some I don't and quite a few I have never heard of. There are two Content Creation Tools that I will be downloading as soon as I finish this review. I have not previously read any of Lise's books but now I shall make a concerted effort to source all of them.
