The One With The 15-Minute Content Plan
Ever feel overwhelmed by the idea of creating consistent content for your business—especially on intimidating platforms like YouTube?
You’re not alone!
On episode 3 of the Easy Does It Podcast, host Lise dives into a super simple, actionable process to help you craft powerful, offer-driven content in just 15 minutes.
If you’re looking to grow your audience and funnel people directly to your offers, keep reading!
The Story: Overwhelm Meets Opportunity
Lise kicks off the episode with a relatable tale: A client wanting to start a YouTube channel felt stuck before she even began.
The big questions: How do I come up with content ideas? How often do I need to post? How do I plan it all out?
The solution? Break content planning into easy, strategic steps that take only 15 minutes.
Enter: the 15-Minute Content Plan.
Step-by-Step: Build Your Content Plan in 15 Minutes
Ready to give it a try? Grab your pen and paper and follow along!
1. Identify Your Ideal Customer
Who is your offer really for?
Be as specific as possible.
If your goal is to promote a group coaching program, picture the person who would benefit from it most.
Write it down!
2. List Out Their Pain Points
What problems or pain are you helping your ideal customer solve with your offer?
Jot down each pain point—ideally in the first person, as if your dream client is telling you directly.
3. Add “Because” To Each Pain Point
For every pain point, add the word “because” at the end.
Then, answer why this pain exists or why it’s a challenge for your customer.
This simple phrase unlocks deeper levels of understanding and insight.
Example:
- “I struggle to show up consistently online because I never know what to say.”
- “I feel stuck in my career because I don’t have clear goals.”
4. Expand Into Content Angles
Now, you’ll see each “pain + because” combo turns into a potential content topic or angle.
You can write from multiple perspectives, give advice, share stories, or teach solutions based on each point.
5. Use AI to Multiply Ideas (Optional)
If you want unlimited inspiration, drop your pain points plus explanations into your favorite AI tool.
Ask it for new angles, headlines, or even video scripts (Lise loves using Magai with Claude Sonnet 3.5 and her brand persona for this).
6. Optimize For Results
Your content should always point viewers or readers back to your offer.
If you’re on YouTube, for instance, add links to your coaching program and a free lead magnet in your description so you’re both selling and growing your email list.
Why This Works
This system—called the Messaging Organizer—is designed to turn your audience’s real-world struggles into content that speaks directly to them, builds trust, and makes it easy for them to say “yes” to working with you.
In practice, Lise’s client walked away with at least 20 strong video ideas after just one session.
Following this process weekly means you’ll never run out of things to say—and your content will always be aligned with your business goals.
