October and November provide North Americans with the chance to be thankful through the Thanksgiving holidays. For Canada, that’s observed on October 10th and for American’s, that’s observed on November 24.

For the rest of the world, it’s business as usual but I do wish we had a Thanksgiving holiday because it’s the perfect time of year for a little reflection and to be thankful for the life that we have.

Before I jump into this awesome Thanksgiving Gift Guide, I wanted to share with you what I’m thankful for this year.

What I’m Thankful For:

[bullet_block style=”size-16″ small_icon=”15.png” width=”” alignment=”center”]

  • Being able to work from home and do what I love
  • The ability to touch people’s lives no matter where they live, thanks to the internet
  • Being able to help friends and family more because I have flexible working hours
  • Being able to choose who I work with and when
  • Having an amazing husband that supports me in everything I do
  • Connecting with friends around the world with offers of free accommodation whenever we reach their part of the world

[/bullet_block]

There is so much to be thankful for. But don’t wait for a special holiday to practice being thankful…

Being thankful — showing gratitude on a daily basis — reminds your monkey mind about the good things in your life.

As part of my evening and morning routines, I write down the three things I’m grateful at that given point in time. It forces me to stop and think and feel. I encourage you to incorporate this into your own routines too.

Now, on to the fun stuff. Awesome gifts for awesome people 🙂

This doesn't add anything extra to the cost for you, all it does is provide me with a little kickback for recommending it to you 🙂 You can bypass any of these links by searching on Google for any of the products I've mentioned below.

Struggling to decide what to give your entrepreneurial friend this holiday season? Here're some ideas that will blow them away and make them feel like you actually understand what it is they do on a day-to-day basis…

Gifts Under $200

#1: Sunglasses that ‘snap'

Looking for something completely different and new? Is your friend a major snapchatter? Then they are going to love the new “Spectacles” by Snap Inc. These sunglasses are equipped with video cameras that capture 10-second videos that can be shared via your Snapchat account. At just $130, they are cheaper than most designer sunnies! The catch? They're ‘coming soon' – maybe a Christmas gift?

#2: Speakers that ‘echo'

Does your friend or loved one spend a lot of time in their home office? Are they a huge music lover? Then the Amazon Echo wireless speaker is a great option. It can be connected around the home, so it's not just limited to the home office. Starting at $179, you'll love how quickly they'll reach your loved one if you order now!

#3: Instant camera's

I love camera's that instantly produce what you've just captured so I'm certain that your friend would love one too. One of my favs is the Fujifilm line of instant cameras. There are many options and they come in a range of colors. You can grab one for around $129.

#4: Portable color sensor

This is one of those gifts that you never knew you needed. The SwatchMate color sensor cube allows your designer friends to capture any color on any surface and match it, without having to spend hours searching online! Starting at $179, they are a great tool for any designer.

#5: Wireless scanner

I think this next gift is an ingenious idea! I'm always highlighting text and taking notes in Evernote on the physical books I read. Now I don't have to take photos with my phone, I can simply use the IrisPen Scanner to capture what I need and transfer it to Evernote! Starting at $151.

#6: Espresso maker

Is your friend or loved one a bit of a coffee connoisseur? They will love the ROK Espresso Maker. The best part about this is that it doesn't need power to operate, meaning you can take this with you wherever you want to enjoy your own roast of coffee! Priced at $155.

#1: Tablet mount

Does your friend or loved one complain about not having two screens to work from? Rather than buy them another monitor (boring!) why not get them a PIXO magnet tablet mount for the side of their computer instead? This way they'll be able to move between the two screens with ease. Priced at just $35.

#2: Wooden computer stand

I have one of these for my Macbook Air and absolutely love it. They come in a range of colors (I've got the light wood version) and are perfect for a laptop or monitor. These wooden computer stands have plenty of room for storage underneath and look super expensive! Priced from $49.

#3: Planners

I don't care how many people tell you they don't need a plan, as an entrepreneur, you need a plan. You can't work the plan if you don't have a plan to work! Some of my fav planners include those by Ban.do and The Passion Planner. Starting from $40.

#4: Storage

Storage can be a real issue, particularly if you're working from a space that isn't just dedicated to being a home office. If your friend or a loved one is in the same position, some storage options like the 3-Tier Storage Cube is a good one. Starting at $21.99.

#5: Tidy desktop options

I don't know about you, but I have cables everywhere in my home office. And the most annoying part about this isn't that I've got so many, it's the fact they keep falling off the desk when they aren't plugged in! This cool Wooden Desktop Cable Organizer fixes all of that. I can't wait to get mine in the mail! Priced at $32.

Gifts Under $50

#1: Colorful clock

Looking for something a bit different that also provides a ton of color? This Transforming Analog Clock is a good option. Not only does it tell the time, but it moves along with time and changes colors at the same time. It's not overly big and will fit nicely on a desk or bookshelf. Priced at $39.

#2: Coffee mug with feeling

Looking for a large, white coffee mug minus all those cheesy sayings? Love the sunshine and so does your friend? Then the Morning Sunshine Coffee Mug is a good option. Simple, to-the-point and large enough to handle your biggest cup of Joe! Priced at $15.

#3: Superhero shelving

Is your friend or loved one a bit of a Superman fan or Batman fan? Then they are going to love these floating Superhero Shelves, perfect for holding books that need to be read. Starting at $25.

#4: Journals

I'm something of a journal junkie, I've currently got over 10 sitting on my bookshelf right now, waiting to be used. If you have a friend with a similar problem, then they will LOVE you forever if you add a few more to the pile 🙂 Try The Self Journal. Priced at just $32

#5: Desk lamps

We all need a bit of extra light every now and then, particularly when working on those late night projects. The OttLite Desk Lamp doubles as both a desk lamp and mini storage option too. Starting at $30.

#6: Inspiring books

Does your friend or loved one like physical books? Then consider giving them the gift of some of the following inspiring books. Take it a step further and get them delivered straight to their door as an added bonus — who doesn't love receiving items in the mail unexpectedly?! (Guy, that's a hint!):

Now all that's left to do is get your shopping sorted before Thanksgiving rolls around, whether that's in a few short weeks if you're in Canada or in a month or so if you're in America.

And if you want to get a jump-start on your Christmas shopping, this list should also help with that too!

Do you have any items you'd add to this list? Feel free to include them in the comments below!
